Now they are on the hunt for a director of its digital sales who is as creative, polished and successful as the magazine itself to pitch the crème de la-crème of advertisers.

As Sales Director, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Director to identify spanking-new digital initiatives and sell them to the choicest advertisers, many of whom, one hopes, are already in your Rolodex. The marketing team will hand off to your sales group some of the finest pitches in the business and, taking the baton, you’ll run them into the end zone, dodging mixed metaphors along the way. You’ll hire and inspire a truly world-class sales force that will relentlessly work the street to bring in new advertisers and keep existing accounts buying. You’ll execute multi-million-dollar deals, and you’ll do it with team spirit and an insatiable hunger for new ideas, new sales talent, new trends, and new opportunities for increasing revenue.

You’re a seasoned digital sales pro with leadership experience who’s ready to step into a very senior role in a high-revenue organization. Your contacts are legion and loyal. You have years of high-volume, high-success campaigns to boast of. You have the can-do attitude of an inveterate winner – and yet you not only accept but insist upon collaboration, knowing that your very finest work is the result of close cooperation with colleagues. You have an affinity for the fashion and celebrity verticals, are deeply attuned to all things digital – social, mobile, web, email et al – and have an uncanny sense of how to monetize content thereupon.
