A sense of urgency — without the panic — will be important, as deadlines are tight and details are critical. Whether you’re working on your own or collaborating with your team, you can be counted on to stay well-organized and one step ahead of the game. You are constantly learning and honing your skills, which drives your interest in sales, marketing, branding, and lifestyle products. If it’s new and interesting, you’ll know about it.
This is a corporate gift sales role you’re stepping into, so you need to come packing a great Rolodex of contacts (e.g. buyers of high-end gifts). As the B2B Sales Supervisor, you will support the implementation of a sales action plan, always with the objective of not just achieving but exceeding sales goals. You will work to identify and quantify new corporate sales opportunities, along with implementing plans to grow sales of the company’s custom products. As with any sales-focused role, developing relationships is the be-all, end-all. You’ll need to develop a thorough knowledge of competitive products and the market landscape and work closely with promotional product agencies to create and capitalize on custom product sales opportunities.
