This site is a historically trusted source for breaking financial news, investment trends, and stock analysis, and they’re currently pivoting their editorial mission. That’s why the search is on for an energetic and motivated leader who’s going to usher in a new wave of diversified and elevated breaking news content. In this role, you’ll help pioneer a brand-new editorial vision, build out your own portfolio, and help develop a world-class breaking news team.

You’re excited by the prospect of leading a breaking news team in journalistic excellence and helping transform a storied financial news institution. You possess a comprehensive understanding of the financial markets and how both fundamental and technical data are used to make investment choices.
You have a BA/BS degree in journalism, English, or a related field. You have 4 to 6 years’ experience in print or online journalism at a recognized news organization. Prior breaking news editing experience and a proven track record in developing and motivating reporters are must-haves. Strong editorial, communication and multitasking skills are a given. The dealbreaker: You need to be a morning person since you’ll be covering breaking news 7AM-4PM EST weekdays and you must be comfortable working weekends with little supervision. You got this!
