A start-up nestled within a billion-dollar global company (they focus on personalization of products) needs a motivated sales and business development rep to join their growing team. You will work closely with prospective clients as the primary inside sales contact, performing direct marketing and biz dev. This includes gathering info from customers about their location and demographics to improve future lead-gen strategies, answering questions about the organization and the products being sold, and explaining key product features and prices. You will also maintain tracking of contacts and customer records, focus heavily on proactive outbound calls to accounts and tracking client records and customer surveys.
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have a BS/BA in Business or related field (or equivalent relevant experience) and have spent 2+ years in an inside sales or customer service experience role within a fast-paced environment. In prior roles, you used your instincts and sharp skills to build out existing clients and uncover new sales opportunities through the use of probing questions. You have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales metrics with measurable growth and have built successful working relationships with the internal team. You have strong problem-solving agility, persistence, focus, and determination and are technically savvy with strong Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.
