The Nitty Gritty
The backstory on the company and why they need to hire you!
A renowned NYC-based healthcare institution with an international profile is looking for a creative and skilled Coordinator, Photo Production and Editing to join their Content Strategy and Development team.
In this role, you will be focused on delivering engaging, high-quality visuals for a broad audience. You’ll be responsible for supporting photography and photo editing in alignment with this national health institution’s brand guidelines.
If you enjoy producing human-centered stories and being part of a tight-knit team of creatives in NYC, then this is the gig for you.
Why You?
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You must have photo-editing experience and a Bachelor’s degree in photography, graphic design, or related field. You have a keen and creative eye for creating and editing unique photos that will stand out and engage the audience. Abundant experience with Photoshop is required, and knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite applications is a plus. Experience with digital asset management platforms (DAMs) and knowledge of best practices for metadata tagging is necessary. You’re great at working with cross-functional teams and adept at building rapport quickly.
It goes without saying that you have a robust portfolio exhibiting prior photo work (you will not be considered without this). Important: you must have substantial prior experience working on shoots with people; i.e., if you have only product experience, you won’t be considered. Experience in the healthcare industry is a huge plus.
The Inside Skinny
Why you should quit your job right now and join this team!
This role will contribute to the overarching content strategy and digital storytelling for a dynamic and thriving organization whose groundbreaking procedures are making a difference in the world. If this sounds like a fit, we want to hear from you.
