The Hired Guns have a great opportunity for you to work with the world’s largest membership-based marketplace for business expertise. They’ve recently completed a total overhaul of their core branding, and they need you to dream up a whole new approach to customer-facing design that embodies their new positioning in the market.
We’re seeking a Gun with a demonstrated design sensibility and a knack for producing engaging, on-brand creative. This know-how comes from extensive previous experience concepting and executing B2B marketing communications in an integrated ad agency. Whether you are currently a creative director or an up-and-coming art director, this is familiar ground for you, and you are more than ready to lead a team of your own. Your strategic chops are matched only by your hands-on design skills. As Creative Director, you will be expected not only to lead the strategic side of things, but also to contribute to the actual execution of your big ideas, so only those willing to get their hands dirty in the day-to-day design need apply.
As Creative Director, you will head up a team consisting of design, copy, and development talent that operates as the de facto advertising agency for the entire company, so you will be responsible for liaising with different internal groups and helping them solve their marketing problems. From conception to execution, your team will have a seat at the table during every step of the process. As the lead creative for the marketing department, you will inspire your team to create solutions that work brilliantly across platforms and media. (Translation: be it digital or print, you’ll work with the medium that best solves the problem at hand.) You’ll work with groups as diverse as sales, products and events, so no two problems, or creative solutions, will be the same. While historically this group has worked predominantly with print, they are hoping to find a Gun that can seamlessly integrate digital into the mix.
