The Hired Guns are looking for a Recruiter to join our team. That’s right–not a client, but The Hired Guns ourselves. We’re growing like crazy, and a new recruiter is just what the doctor ordered. To land this gig, you’ll need to be an experienced recruiter who understands New York’s ultra-competitive scene and who has an informed POV on what’s hot in digital. If you’ve got what it takes, you could be our newest hire.
As a Recruiter for The Hired Guns, you’ll work with some of the biggest–and soon to be biggest–names in digital. That means taking a consultative approach and getting to know their business, their culture, and their talent needs. You’ll dig deep to find out the story behind the hire: not just THAT they need talent but WHY they need talent, as well as what this hire means for their business.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll launch your search for a candidate who fits their needs and their company culture. That means scouting on LinkedIn, reaching out to likely candidates in The Hired Guns network, and scouring portfolios online to find the one perfect creative who meets the client’s needs. Then you’ll shepherd the candidates through a vetting and interview process, and ultimately drive the hiring process with the client. And be ready to move fast; our clients know we can seal the deal when time is a factor, so you may be called upon to find great talent at a moment’s notice.
There’s a lot of ownership in this gig. You’ll be responsible for your performance, and you’ll need to be ready to own your own clients and have the vision and wherewithal to create new business.
This gig is equal parts advisor, detective, and account manager. If you’ve done internal recruiting or worked for a larger staffing firm and are ready to join a team that prizes itself on making the right hire every time, you’ve just found your people.

You understand the digital landscape like few others. You have an eye for great talent and keep up with trends in all the applicable fields. You know where to go to find the most innovative professionals. And above all else, you know how to reach top talent and bring them into The Hired Guns’ network.
Your client-facing chops are exceptional. You have a knack for forming a rapport in seconds flat and can become a trusted advisor through savvy insights on the talent and employment market. Of course, you’re also a skilled salesperson who knows that the best way to win business is to provide tangible value again and again.
You don’t require hand-holding, either. You’re self-directed and have a passion for growing your own accounts and opening new business with clients large and small.
Ideally, you come with a Rolodex full of top-shelf digital folk that will wow our clients and help them build products and experiences that delight their audiences and drive revenue.
