This Hired Guns client, a top agency doing fantastic 360 work, is seeking a Digital Account Director for one of the biggest fast food chains in the country. The Gun they choose will be the most senior digital person on the account, combining both strategic and marketing chops with a keen understanding of the digital space.
You’ve got extensive client-facing experience, handling partnerships at a strategic level and on a national scale. You have fantastic retail experience and know what it takes to get those cash registers ringing through impactful above- and below-the-line communications. Success in this position means you become the agency’s day-to-day digital expert, one who is passionately and actively involved in bringing new thinking forward. You are able to lead a team that delivers strategically sound, innovative and on-time digital programs. This means a lot of sweating the small stuff; luckily for you, that nit-picky attention to detail is your claim to account-management fame.
As the Digital Account Director, you’ll be expected to provide the highest level of thought leadership, along with a timely execution of all programs, including the website, social media, mobile, and loyalty initiatives. You will be responsible for both strategy development and client engagement, assessing discrete projects delivered on-strategy, on-time, and on-budget. Programs must fulfill client business goals, internal agency productivity must be high, and the client experience must always be forward-looking, collaborative, and altogether positive.
You will introduce new ideas and approaches toward optimizing the digital marketing strategy, capitalizing on emerging technology and media innovations. You’ll lead the team in developing strategically-based digital marketing programs, ensuring that all digital marketing programs and initiatives have measurement processes in place and that the results are included in the planning process. This will include full-year strategic digital plan development, as well as participation in national and test plans.
Prior experience working in fast food will give you an advantage. An understanding of the complexities of retail will ensure that you make a quick initial impact.
If you’re hankering for a new flavor of agency, come take a bite out of one of the biggest names in the industry.
