An Ad Tech company that works on the publisher side of the space needs a versatile Digital Sales Planner for a hybrid role which will sit between the company and one of its fastest growing clients, a widely popular breaking news, entertainment, and politics site for Black audiences. This online publisher has scaled quickly, and they need a hungry and creative Sales Planner to keep up with the copious RFPs flying in the door.
In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end RFP/RFI process, working closely with sales leadership to engage a wide range of clients. You will be charged with responding to and managing proposal development, recommending ad placements and content channels, and analyzing data and market trends.
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You’re already a detail-oriented, resourceful Digital Sales Planner with a minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting the sales development process at a media company. You’re 100% well-versed in Google Ad Manager as well as agency proposal management tools, Excel, and PowerPoint. (Bonus if you have design skills and can make those PowerPoints beautiful and impactful!) You possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to dissect raw data, that guide and inform your data-driven recommendations.
You enjoy working with sales, marketing, and editorial to craft compelling proposals that get sold in. Big pluses if you have vertical knowledge in news as well as an ability to sell into the fashion, beauty, automotive, and CPG categories. Your superb communication skills have always served you well — with agencies, brands and demanding sales teams — and you are known for clearly laying out plans and managing expectations internally and externally.
