We’re looking for a dynamic Director of Digital Product to develop, run, and expand the web and application development program for a music-obsessed television network.
As a Product Manager, you’ve taken complete responsibility for the development of a passel of consumer-friendly apps and web products. You’re fully conversant with current trends in social media, SEO, and search, and you know the benefits and downsides of all the major music sites and apps, from Shazam to Stereogum to Spotify. You combine this with a solid grounding in web technology (especially video) and data architecture, as well as typical web development cycles and methodology.
In addition, you’re a strong, inspiring leader who can manage cross-divisional teams with aplomb and who can recruit effectively from both inside and outside the organization.
As a good consensus builder and an organizational genius, you’ll take account of the needs of in-house stakeholders — from the C-suite on down — to create buy-in for new product strategy. You’ll be responsible for mapping every twist and turn of product development. You’ll manage timelines and budgets with an eagle eye, and also closely track metrics such as viewer engagement and impressions, changing the overall strategy when necessary to respond to the data.
