This fast-growing, venture-backed artificial intelligence startup is considered the premier universal shopping solution. Our client’s user base has been doubling every six weeks, and their rapid expansion means they need a seriously awesome Director of Growth Marketing to come in and lead a stellar marketing team.
This full-time role is multifaceted. Here’s the breakdown: as a natural leader who’s well-versed in paid marketing, you’ll take the reins and build an A-class marketing team of both performance and conversion marketers. You’ll be responsible for creating an ambitious vision for your marketing team that will meet the company’s fast-growing marketing needs. You will assess performance of all current paid media efforts, while also evaluating new channel opportunities. You’ll be working cross-functionally with design, brand/consumer, and business intelligence teams to adjust the budget, improve performance, and evolve creative messaging. Basically, you’ll have a ton of room to grow within this role and this company.
Why You?
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to paid/performance media. You have a BA, BS and/or MA, MS in marketing, business, communications, advertising, brand management, English or journalism. You have a “consumer-first” mindset and a comprehensive understanding of user behavior, pop culture, and trends. You aren’t afraid to dive in the deep end, explore new ideas, and adapt to change quickly. It’s a given that you know how to set up campaigns across ad platforms, run results-driven marketing campaigns, and create cohesive marketing strategies. You enjoy managing a team, hiring new talent, and coaching others. You’re a natural-born leader with a collaborative, can-do attitude. It’s a plus if you have experience in the tech or fintech spaces.
