As the E-Commerce Analyst, Data and Analytics for this company, you’ll coordinate, forecast and execute on all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual e-commerce reporting, partner with channel owners to identify key metrics and reporting cadence, then lead the building and maintenance of these reports and identify the best way to dashboard the data. You’ll design A/B site and campaign testing scenarios, then monitor, analyze, and report on the results. Working closely with the operations team, you’ll sync website analytics with backend distribution and identify actionable steps to remove inefficiencies. You’ll mobilize data to identify business trends and predict customer behavior, and your insights will drive the enterprise’s ongoing growth.
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
With two to six years of experience in data analysis and reporting, you’ve made yourself an expert in marketing and web analytics. You may have worked either on the brand side or agency side, as long as you’ve cut your teeth in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines. You’ve got strong communication skills, able to spin data into a coherent, business-relevant narrative and present it to high-level, non-technical audiences.
B2C marketing and e-commerce experience is a must-have, preferably D2C and/or subscription. It goes without saying (but we’ll say it anyway) that you’ve worked on a multitude of different kinds of projects across all channels (especially social and search) and that you have skills with tools and technologies that are nothing short of jaw-dropping: Excel, SQL, web analytics (especially Google Analytics, but also Segment), data-viz and BI (Looker preferred, but Tableau and PowerBI are good substitutes). You’re a testing maestro, whether split, A/B, or multivariate. Icing on the cake: some coding ability (R or Python).
Top it all off with a good sense of humor and a taste for the irreverent, and you’re the perfect match!
