As the Dallas, Texas Field Sales Manager at this customized promotional products company, you’ll have unlimited freedom to do what you do best: drive sales growth by creating and executing ambitious sales plans. You will have a tremendous amount of potential – within the top 3 clients alone there’s $40 million in spend available. Did we mention that the potential rewards are huge? That said, you’ll have to work for it, as you’ll be responsible for growing business with a big roster of existing customers while simultaneously hunting for new accounts.
The good news? There are some innovative clients in this territory that you can deeply penetrate with the right approach. Additionally, there are a lot of national buying groups/accounts, which this organization supports heavily already. You’ll have a small customer base with little to no overnight travel required, allowing you to grow existing business with laser focus.
This company operates through a distributor model and deals in big, complicated orders, so you’ll need to be a dynamic presence and hyper-organized project manager to nurture customer relationships in this competitive marketplace. Plus, you need to be highly adept at (and have a proven track record of) prospecting and data management to build and maintain a robust pipeline to hit your challenging targets.
Note, this is an outside sales role: You will be in the field for 4 or 5 days each week with the bulk of the territory in Dallas.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
To do this job right, you must be a successful seller with at least 3 years of field/outside sales experience and an impressive track record of consistently meeting and exceeding production goals. You’re self-motivated and as effective at working independently as you are as part of a team. Experience in the promotional products industry is a plus but not required. As long as you thrive in a fast-changing sales environment and have successfully sold in a two-step distribution structure, then this is the gig for you.

- Exceptional sales negotiation and presentation skills
- High proficiency with the communication, data management, and relationship management tools of the trade: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power BI, and Salesforce
- Valid driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
