Our client is re-imagining the portal concept from a user-experience perspective and is looking for a a front-end dev who is agile enough to user-test, add/remove features, and amend the UX/UI while handling enterprise-level applications. A key member of the team, this developer will participate in the drive toward new functionality and fresh innovation, while supporting the current needs of stakeholders.
You’ll provide input on feasibility, technical solution design, and prioritization. You’ll collaborate with various teams and stakeholders–including product, design, technology and content departments — to ensure integrations and dependencies are thoroughly planned and communicated. This tech team runs in an Agile/Scrum environment, so having that experience is crucial.
Hired Gun Profile
You’re a seasoned Front End Developer who knows plenty about enterprise applications and web/app development. HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript and impressive CMS experience all have a place in your toolbox. You’ve got solid functional knowledge of jQuery and extJS, as well as experience integrating front end code with Java, PHP, JSP, or related languages. You know your way around databases using MySQL, Oracle, JSR 170, Apache Jackrabbit, and the like. You also know your way around MVC frameworks like spring or symphony. If you know how to develop responsive sites, even better!
You’re definitely at home in an Agile environment. You love to collaborate, and you’re not too precious with your code. When you get constructive feedback, you don’t get snippy–you get better.
