Developing and launching original short-form programming, that’s the name of the game. You’ll pull out all the stops to win young audiences by reaching them where they live, in the digital space, with irresistible, innovative content. Oh, you’ll have your collaborators – -marketing (on audience strategy), the managing editor (to set a vision for the website), sales (for creative partnerships) and most of all, of course, the brainy and plugged-in team of producers you hire & inspire. You’ll also play something of a curatorial role, helping select content to go into the pipeline for distribution on selected channels. And you’ll provide programming-related perspective and guidance throughout the organization, including to key investors.

And you know how to build that stuff, meaning, yes, actual creative ideas, but also meaning hiring the best people and seeing to it that they love what they do. From years of experience, you know perfectly well what goes into video production and how to make that process run smoothly and to delightful fruition. You elicit wonderful ideas from people, give credit where it is due – and then act decisively.
The strong preference here is for someone not just with television experience, but with TV and digital in their background.
