The Hired Guns are seeking an Insights and Analytics Gun with 5 years of experience to join our client, a global consumer goods company producing elegant reading and writing accessories.
Your job will be to take charge of our client’s e-commerce site analytics and reporting, develop campaign performance dashboards and tell the exciting and evolving growth story of the lifetime value of their loyal customers.
Of course we expect you to be a bit of a smarty pants, but we also need you to be collaborative on a global scale. You will work across a number of internal constituencies, including country/region heads from the US, EMEA and Asia, to tease strategic meaning out of a mass of data — customer lifetime value, purchasing behavior and marketing campaign performance.
Musts and nice-to-haves: Experience with Google Analytics is an absolute must. The ability to calculate and evolve customer lifetime value and tie it back to specific campaigns and channels is also hugely important. An SEM or SEO background would be a great bonus.
We’re looking for a storyteller, someone who can figure out which numbers to pull, interpret what they’re saying, identify what the business opportunity can be, and then sell it internally. This includes continual analysis of marketing campaign performance, onsite customer browsing and purchasing behavior, and development of actionable insights to be applied to new business opportunities or operational improvements.
Your role will be to drive the analytics across the complete digital value chain: from initial customer acquisition to our client’s website through customer engagement to lifetime value optimization. In order to accomplish this you will work with diverse business owners, producers and third-party partners to manage execution of complete channel analytics and reporting.
