This mission-driven tech company provides high-quality virtual care for millions of families around the world. Their technology empowers and connects families across the USA by bringing them personalized medical care, no matter where they are. As they scale, they’re looking for a curious and highly skilled iOS Engineer to drive their expansion. Their platform runs the gamut of technologies– video, SMS and telephony, payments, automated scheduling, medical imaging, and many more. In this role, you’ll be tasked with building out new mobile product features from start to finish. Plus, you’ll build every facet of a feature, from wireframe UI/UX design and implementation to the creation of the back-end APIs to support that feature. You’ll be the one creating scalable and sustainable back-end APIs to support multiple versions of a released app, and you’ll publish new versions of the application on the App Store. Finally, you’ll build improvements to the iOS development and release workflows, including automated testing and continuous integration.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
The ideal candidate has 3 to 6 years of experience as an iOS software developer, software engineer, or similar role. You must have experience with latest best practices for Swift and iOS development and with Apple App Store deployment and provisioning. You’re motivated by learning new skills and improving the experience of users. You’re a good team player with high EQ! Experience building secure mobile APIs and integrating with 3rd party libraries is needed and familiarity with their tech stack (Typescript, NodeJS, MySQL) is preferred. Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, IAM is a plus. A background in healthcare is not required, but a desire to innovate at a mission-driven company is essential!
