As Lead Software Engineer, you will have a direct impact on software operations as the company upgrades their software offerings for patients, clinical research study sites, and research sponsors. You will lead and manage the product support engineering team, including maintenance, security fixes and reports, related DevOps, and issue resolutions. You’ll actively participate in design sessions and code reviews that elevate the quality of engineering across the organization. This is a very hands-on role that requires you to have a strong voice and effectively mentor and manage engineers. So, if you like to model proper coding techniques and coach others to do the same, then this is the job for you.

You have significant experience (5+ years) designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable systems and services. Understanding of modern Linux, Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes (CI/CD) is a must. You possess the ability to work in a polyglot environment and you relish every opportunity to learn new programming languages and tools. Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and the ability to write and optimize complex queries are must-haves. You’re a leader who thoroughly enjoys supervising and coaching other engineers and has experience managing a team of three or more people.
