We’re looking for a Marketing and Sales Operations Manager with a strong background in B2B marketing, digital branding and marcomms skills to head up two major projects for our client, the provider of technology outsourcing solutions to the financial services industry. This freelance project is expected to last about 12 weeks, with the potential to evolve into a fulltime hire.
A digital marketing know-it-all, you’ve got a background in B2B marketing, strong digital brand and marcomms skills, and impressive experience developing and executing marketing campaigns that get mind-blowing results. You’ll need a good understanding of the financial services industry, and if you’ve spent time in the world of technology as well, all the better.
As the Marketing and Sales Operations Manager, you will have day-to-day responsibility for the execution of two specific projects:
- The design and implementation of a measurement and analytics reporting program designed to maintain system metrics to track campaign and operational performance, trends and usage; and
- The redesign and implementation of the group’s lead management and lead generation systems, predominantly focused on Salesforce.com and Eloqua. You are a pro when it comes to creating and maintaining workflows/Program Builder processes, validating rules, and all other technical and administrative functions of Salesforce.com and Eloqua.
Acting as the liaison and facilitator between the stakeholders in the marketing, sales and technology departments and third-party service providers, you’ll ensure that these implementations provide all the actionable data needed for the marketing teams to be more efficient.
To operate effectively in this role, experience with Salesforce.com and marketing automation systems such as Eloqua is essential. B2B marketing operations experience in the financial services industry is also a huge plus. To take it up a notch, it’ll help if you have a background in specialized areas like investor communications, securities processing, or mutual funds.
