The head of content strategy at a renowned NYC-based healthcare institution is looking to bring on a freelance (3 months full-time) Motion Designer to work on and support interesting, mission-driven designs. This includes graphics, photography, video, animation, narration, music, and sound design. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, communication, video, and social teams to enrich and energize all communication channels, bringing stories and touchpoints to life.
Your deep experience in and passion for visual storytelling, coupled with your vibrant and versatile suite of design skills, will create a spectrum of output to solve communication challenges that will elevate this iconic health brand.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a designer with 3+ years specializing in designing motion graphics for social and working cross-functionally with marketing teams. You must have intermediate to advanced experience in After Effects, Premiere, and other Adobe Creative Cloud tools. You have a 360 approach to design and can envision a project with assets that scale and move seamlessly across channels. Your online portfolio is largely digital-first, and your motion work demonstrates a range of projects, techniques, and skills. You enjoy the flexibility of working as part of a team one day, and independently the next. You like to own a project from start to finish but are open to feedback and adapt easily to new ideas and processes. You’re not afraid to propose bold ideas or new thinking.
