Brands, cities, campaigns, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations all love working with this award-winning agency, which built its own proprietary software to monitor and measure campaigns. But to helm it, they need a Principal of Data and Analytics who can spearhead back-end political data management offerings to the clients. Using voter databases like Civis and Target Smart to drive digital marketing strategy, you’ll build and implement organization-wide processes like data pipelines in support of analytical integrations. You’ll also build dashboards for business insights across departments.
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You’re politically savvy, with a realistic stance ranging from left-centrist to proud progressive, and are gleefully wonky wherever you are on the spectrum. You’ve put in management time, possibly under a title like Director of Analytics, in fundraising committees and politically-oriented online media agencies or market research firms with political clients.
You definitely know your way around a voter database, and right now you’re wondering if it’s time to switch gears from this senatorial or presidential campaign you’re working on.
You offer a wise point of view when it comes to using digital analytics in political campaigns, but you manage your teams by supporting their own initiatives. Your leadership skills define your work, but they’re ideally supported by your working knowledge of programming tools such as Python and Scala. SQL and Tableau would also be choice assets. The better to build tools for automation and optimization with!
