We’re seeking a visionary and highly conceptual Product Manager to lead development of email and messaging platforms for our client, a leading supplier of B2B news, data, and analysis.
You have a strong product management background and really understand what goes into moving a product or feature from concept to release. In the world of messaging and communications, you’re a thought leader, and your resume shows it — we want a Product Manager with significant accomplishments developing email (or similar products) at Google, Facebook, AOL, or the like. (It would also be nice if you had some experience developing products for real-time collaboration, community-building, social media, etc., but it’s not essential.)
In any case, all of your work reflects your strong user-centric orientation — you’ve got a passion for getting into users’ brains and understanding their work habits so that you can identify and implement features that will have the biggest effect on satisfaction, adoption, and retention. Finally, you’re also someone who works effectively in a large multinational company with ambitious goals.
You’ll own the development of this company’s email and instant messaging platforms, which are an essential part of its proprietary system for delivering financial data, news and analytics. As the team leader, your role will encompass vision, strategy, and execution. You’ll be helping craft innovative, intuitive designs and working with development to make them a reality. At the same time, you’ll also be busy preparing project plans, obtaining approval for them, managing your staff, and staying in touch with other product managers to coordinate overall product vision.
With a major refresh of its offerings just unveiled earlier this year, this is one company that wants to shake things up. Be ready to share a story or two about how you’ve done the same.
The leadership in place here is best-in-class, very energetic, and highly enthusiastic. Bring your “A” game, and you’ll fit right in.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, creed, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital status, disability, or any other status protected by applicable law.
