The Hired Guns are seeking a Quantitative UX Research Assistant to support a cross-functional research team that’s working to inform the future of work strategy for a global tech giant. This is a contract role, full-time hours, that’s expected to last 6 months. You can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

A giant in the tech and information space is creating a new internal organizational program designed to better understand and quantify differences in UX related to IT support, products, and services, and there’s a compelling contract opportunity with the team that could be perfect for you!
As the Quantitative UX Research Assistant, you will work with senior UX Researchers to support quantitative methods research surveys and help the internal engagement team to leverage insights in order to drive decision-making and inform the organization’s “future of work” strategy. In this role, you will collaborate with other user researchers on various research preparation activities. Working with content development, data infrastructure, and reporting to build and administer user surveys, you’ll perform tasks from cleaning, coding, and organizing data to transcribing interviews and categorizing open text data from research studies.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, or other field emphasizing human behavior, as well as 1-3 years of direct experience designing and executing research across a variety of methods. As a detail-oriented, independent worker, you’re able to manage multiple tasks relating to analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and interpreting and summarizing existing research reports. When sharing insights with cross-functional teams and partners, you are a persuasive communicator. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, with statistics and direct experience with statistics software (e.g., R, SPSS, STATA, Matlab, etc.) preferred.
