The Hired Guns are seeking a highly organized administrative assistant/project coordinator to “keep the trains running” for a group of independent research interviewers conducting telephone interviews with financial services professionals. You will contact these professionals to schedule appointments with the interviewers, communicate scheduling information, coordinate project logistics via phone and email, and facilitate information flow with the client. This is a 6-week part-time gig with lots of flexibility.
You’re a capable, unflappable, highly organized individual who knows how to keep a lot of balls in the air. You’re a skillful administrator, but you don’t want to be chained to a desk 40 hours a week: you want some time left over to pursue what you truly love in the work world (art? acting? writing? academics? whatever!) You are highly proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel as well as technologically adept in general (in this project, you might find yourself setting up someone’s Skype account, FTPing files, setting up a mass email, and more).
You’ve got a pretty good sense of the gig duties from what we’ve written so far. Other than that, the work is part-time and flexible. You’ll be set up with a desk at The Hired Guns Hive, from which you’ll orchestrate the efforts of the remote interviewers. You’ll interface closely with the project team on the client side and will help disseminate important communications from the client to the field.
This research project will begin in early April. Do impressive work on this program, and you can expect to be invited back for periodic projects that come up throughout the year.
