This women-led, billion-dollar company takes mom-and-pop optometrists and keeps them in the community while scaling them under a centralized umbrella. Now, they’re looking for their first-ever in-store and digital Program Manager hire to drive innovative solutions that bridge their digital e-commerce and physical retail experiences.
As Retail Program Manager, you’ll start out on a contract basis, playing a crucial consulting role in shaping and executing the vision for seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints, driving business growth through integrated channel strategies, subscriptions, loyalty programs, and other in-store and digital experiences. You’ll lead the development and launch of their omnichannel programs, including strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimization. You’ll report to the VP of eCommerce and Digital, a great female leader and mentor. It’s a good look.
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- You’ve got the in-store + digital omnichannel chops: You have experience in digital/omnichannel strategy, retail operations, or related fields, preferably with a Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
- You have experience in retail environments: You have successfully led digital transformation initiatives in retail environments that translate to in-store experience. Let’s say you start with a digitalized personalized experience ( looking at glasses online) and then you make sure that translates to in-store experiences, aka trying them on in-person. Multi-location retail is a big plus, as is experience with subscription and/or loyalty programs.
- You’re a highly organized project manager who can work both independently and collaboratively: You’ve got strong project management capabilities with experience driving initiatives from concept to completion. You haven’t just built a deck with ideas: You’ve taken a project or product from ideation to in-store and digital implementation.
- You’re happy being in a consultative role: You’re great at being immersed in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where you can be consultative and prove your grit. Note, this is a contract role (full-time hours with the possibility of becoming a full-time role) so you have to be ok with this!
- You’re data-driven, naturally curious, and self-motivated: You have strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making coupled with a natural eagerness to explore and implement innovative solutions.
