This Hired Guns client, the producer of a line of simple-yet-elegant reading and writing accessories, is looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator who can capably—and stylishly—support the trade sales and marketing team both online and off.
You’ve spent a couple of years now in a fast-paced marketing or sales environment, so you’ve got a firm understanding of how brand communications work and what goes into retail sales and marketing strategy — and definitely know that’s what you want in your career trajectory. You’ve cut your teeth in fashion and beauty companies and are looking for a place where you can really make an impact. You are highly organized and detail-oriented and can operate independently in a project-oriented office, and you have a genuine interest in learning more about lifestyle products and sales and marketing best practices. It’s imperative that you be a Microsoft Office Suite “power user,” particularly of PowerPoint and Excel. And you’ll earn major brownie points if you know your way around Photoshop as well.
In the role of Coordinator, you will support the sales and marketing team with all aspects of setting up products and collections and prepping for strategic presentations, always with the goal of upholding and strengthening brand guidelines without neglecting essential logistical details. You will maintain the internal calendar to ensure alignment with distributor timelines, monitor merchandising and brand presence at current and prospective retailers, and assist with the planning and execution of special projects. You will also lend a hand in the coordination of product and display sample needs for distributors and the rest of the team.
If you’re looking for that job where you get to sit back and just watch everyone else around you get things done … move along. This is a place where self-starters reign. Also, you should have a fashion POV and a good eye.
This role offers an immediate opportunity for a proactive, autonomous, ladder-climbing Gun to jump right in and start contributing.
