The Hired Guns are seeking a highly creative Senior Director of Product Strategy to build and optimize digital products focused on enhancing patient experience for one of NYC’s best-known medical centers.

Salary range: $230,000 to $260,000 per year

The Nitty Gritty

As the Senior Director of Product Strategy, it will be your responsibility to define and execute a multi-product digital strategy focused on enhancing the patient experience, all while partnering with internal teams and external vendors (integrating Epic and MyChart).

You will lead the build and optimization of digital products focused on digital patient access, including online scheduling, MyChart website and app, telehealth, and related products. As a strategic leader, you’ll supervise a vendor team and all MyChart analysts’ work. You’ll also oversee business analysis, product roadmaps, and digital performance analysis.

While you need to be a self-starter in every corner of this job, this role is very collaborative and partners with agencies, vendors, and internal product teams to deliver digital solutions that help support patient engagement and meet business goals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in healthcare product management for consumer/patient and clinical/provider-facing products. Plus, you’re highly adept at leading multi-functional teams and high-priority projects in a complex and matrixed environment.

You must have MyChart / Epic experience either on the vendor side or within a healthcare environment. High proficiency and proven successful delivery of experiences using Agile development, especially scaled agile and lean techniques and methodologies, are must-haves.

To do this job right, you must be a very strategic self-starter and also great at tactical execution. And, duh, you must have a proven track record of building new features.
