This is the kind of role where you’re not just covering the topic; you’re changing the way educators make leadership and technology decisions in schools–and the way kids learn.
They’re looking for someone with a great nose for story angles, excellent writing/reporting and editing chops (with plenty of clips from respected publishers), and the ability to identify emerging trends around leadership and AI in K-12 education and turn them into compelling, deeply reported stories that make waves and drive real change. You’ll be pitching, writing, and editing big-swing features that spark real conversation, the kind of stories educators, parents, and tech leaders can’t stop debating in comment sections and group chats. You’ll help shape editorial direction, build relationships with influential voices in leadership, education and AI, and cover everything from classroom tech, leadership and learning science to motivation, student development, and the future of education itself. The best part? These stories travel. Think social, audio, digital storytelling, and articles that can pull in 100,000+ readers and thousands of reactions in a matter of weeks.
