Comp range: $100,000 base plus $100,000 target bonus per year

This portfolio of digital media brands focuses on informing and entertaining people in pursuit of their passions. In 2025 this company is looking to rapidly expand its collection of food brands and grow through increased direct partnerships with endemic advertisers. And that’s where you come in:
Next year they want to bring on a strategic digital seller from a tier-one media agency who has deep experience and relationships in the Food and Recipe space. This role will support and grow partnerships for their four existing food-focused sites, generating revenue across the current list. Simultaneously, you’ll be prospecting and developing new accounts in the Food vertical, with very attractive financial incentives for doing so!
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- You have 5+ years of experience as a digital ad seller in the food category: You must have experience at a top-tier publisher selling advertising and brand partnerships within a food vertical. This is a non-negotiable.
- You’re a strong relationship builder with tenacity, grit, and entrepreneurial enthusiasm: You have a Rolodex full of CPG clients in the food space and you’re constantly growing your list of contacts
- You have excellent strategic selling skills: You know how to survey the market and analyze its needs, then pivot to generate more revenue and sign new accounts.
- You’re excited to work at an up-and-coming media brand in the food vertical: This is a ground-floor opportunity at a company that already has four food brands that reach an audience of 15 million monthly (and growing).
- You enjoy having a lot of agency, ownership, and accountability: You’re excited to come in and own this role, make it your own, and access limitless growth opportunities.
