The Hired Guns are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics to help drive optimization in paid media and CRM performance at a billion-dollar-and-growing eyewear company that sits at the nexus of healthcare and retail.
Salary range: $140,000 to $150,000 per year

A rapidly growing, female-led retail eyewear brand (hint: they’re poised to take on Warby Parker) that recently reached $1 billion in annual revenue is searching for a Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics who will develop a reporting and analysis program that measures incrementality from paid media campaigns. It doesn’t stop there: You will be tasked with identifying and understanding high-value audience segments and monitoring retention and CRM performance. It’s important to note that you will not simply churn out data and reporting; rather, you will take your data findings and transform them into actionable and compelling stories that you will communicate to senior leadership. In turn, your point of view and expertise will help mold an entire marketing effectiveness strategy for this company.
This is a newly-created position – i.e. you get to come in and run the show, drive the strategy, and have a seat at the senior leadership table. How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
First off, to do this job right you need to be curious, flexible, creative, and comfortable working on evolving programs and data resources. The ideal candidate has 7+ years’ experience with a broad range of marketing analytics functions, including paid media analysis and CRM/retention.
No offense, but you cannot be a data robot; you must love taking your findings and communicating them to stakeholders in digestible bites that anyone can understand. You’re also a wiz at putting decks together and extracting actionable insights that move the business forward.
You’re well-versed in multi-mix modeling and multi-touch attribution. You have deep experience reporting on all digital media channels i.e. paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, and paid video. You have broad marketing analytics experience, including lower-funnel and mid-funnel.
You must have expert-level experience with a vast range of reporting tools and platforms, including SQL, Excel, PowerBI, Google Analytics, and Skai.
