As a result, they need a savvy individual to assume the role of Senior Manager for all Paid Social Media and take the lead on strategy, planning, and activation across key social media platforms. You will work cross-departmentally, partnering with internal and external teams to ensure consistent voice, tone, and POV. It doesn’t stop there: You will also lead the development of media planning and activation across an array of communication types, campaigns, business objectives, and audience segments. Working with a sizable annual social media budget, you will manage four paid social media specialists, helping to strategize the vision and allocation of costs, prioritizing Facebook and Instagram (but also working with Snapchat, Twitter, and Pinterest). How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have 5+ years of experience as a Director or Manager in media planning, specifically in paid social media. You consider yourself an authority on all things social media. It’s great if you have digital media agency experience, and if you’re looking to move from agency to the brand side/in-house, then this is the job for you. You are comfortable managing massive annual social budgets – we’re talking $70-100 million – and running 20+ campaigns per season. It goes without saying that you know the ins and outs of all social media platforms, prioritizing Facebook and then Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and Pinterest.
