Hey Big Stuff, just who do we think you are? Well, we’ll tell you: We think you’re a rising star in the world of marketing who’s found a match-made-in-heaven niche in the world of residential real estate. We think you’ve got it all: a wildly creative mind grounded by a commercial approach to your work; leadership chops complemented by a sincere belief in collaboration; an ability to make things happen in the world; and a surprisingly keen eye for design. Are we right? If so, we urge you to consider this gig, where you can put all of that to best use working for one of the preeminent East-Coast firms in the industry, overseeing new-development marketing projects.
Nitty Gritty
As new properties come to market and land in your portfolio, you’ll clap your project manager helmet onto your head and get to work laying out a strategy for getting the thing marketed in the most innovative and effective way possible. You’ll lay out the work that needs to be done, producing project briefs to cover the creative campaigns for print, digital and events. You’ll seek out creative and strategic partnerships. You’ll handle brand positioning and media and PR efforts. You’ll develop promotions, ads and marketing collateral. And of course you’ll track all your progress, on each assignment, against competing budgets and timelines, ensuring highest-quality, on-time deliverables.
Hired Gun Profile
You’re right for this job if you’re coming up on half a decade in the world of professional marketing, and especially if you’ve been developing your natural leadership skills through some serious project-management work, and especially-especially if that was in residential real estate. You’ve learned to give client presentations with real panache. You’ve learned to juggle priorities and impose your will on the world to get things to happen when and how they need to happen – while remaining the highly collaborative, personable person you are. You’re right up to date on the real estate world and you do everything in your power to keep abreast of the latest industry thinking when it comes to marketing properties.
Inside Skinny
To be sure, this is a project-management gig, but don’t forget to impress us with your creativity, your appreciation for design and culture, and your editorial and visual eye.
