That said, you’re craving significantly more client exposure and are interested in bringing your intellectual heft to corporate strategy at a modern publisher seeking to upend the industry.
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- You’ve earned your Street Cred as a marketer responsible for sales development at another media company, where you’ve worked hand-in-glove with sales to score big wins on the pre-sales side.
- You’re a Storyteller with a refined ability to bring clever and differentiated ideas to clients.
- You have a Stellar Portfolio with work samples that showcase best-in-category ad solutions for Blue Chip advertisers, ideally in CPG (food, beverage, pet food, pet accessories), sporting goods, fishing, home decor & home repair and more!
- You’re a proactive Ad Solutions partner and an RFP Machine who drives the pre-sales effort in your current (or most recent) role and do everything from driving the RFP process to developing sales collateral, client-facing decks for direct sales teams and advertising partners. You love collaborating with the sales, editorial, and creative teams to structure campaigns that align with the brand filter and client objectives.
- You’re a pop-culture savant whose pitches always land, because you know what matters in the moment.
- You understand media planning and have the analytical heft to proactively extract just the right insight that clients will respond positively to. Knowledge of AdOps is highly respected by the CRO, so if you’ve got that, flaunt it too!
- You are a process and project management wonk.
