The Hired Guns are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Analyst to spearhead analytics development and drive digital decision-making at one of the nation’s most prestigious medical centers.
The Nitty Gritty
The backstory on the organization and why they need to hire you!
A renowned NYC-based healthcare institution is looking for a motivated and talented Senior Product Analyst to join their growing analytics team and drive the development of the nation’s best-in-class HealthTech analytics infrastructure. In this role, you will help find innovative digital solutions through synthesizing data insights that inform decisions for all their products. As Senior Product Analyst, you will have a chance to make a measurable impact on the creation of all digital products (think “find a doctor” searches, optimized process flows, and AI-powered chatbots for scheduling). You will be “the one” on the team who knows data better than anyone else, and you will work closely with the product owners to bring an expert level of data sophistication to the table.
This role is brand new: You’ll be working with a blank slate, so you’ll be influencing your own job description, and you’ll have the opportunity to bring best practices to the team. Note: This is a contract position with full time hours, but there’s a ton of room for growth within this esteemed organization as well as the potential for full-time staff hire if you deliver exceptional performance.
Why You?
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You’re excited about raw data, and you’ve worked on multiple products with cross-functional teams. You have 3-5 years experience as a product analyst working directly with digital analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, WebTrends, and similar tools. It’s a given that you have great SQL chops, but you also know how to tell a story around the data. You like to use substantiated data to identify and solve problems, and you can explain your work clearly both in person and in writing. You need to have a certain level of sophistication when it comes to data analysis to excel in this role. Understanding key user experience tools and visualization tools is a must. Perhaps you previously worked in a complex data environment and it’s a plus if you’ve worked in a highly regulated environment. You don’t rely heavily on directors and you’re quite self-sufficient. You’re well-versed in Tableau and you know what clickstream data is and how it works. It’s great if you have a demonstrated ability to run analysis and distill it into bite-sized, comprehensive insights. Bonus points if you’re good at presenting, but it’s not a requirement.
The Inside Skinny
Why you should quit your job right now and join this organization!
The analytics team is quickly expanding within this cutting-edge healthcare institution, and there’s abundant room to create the role that you want, since it’s a brand new position. Plus, you can feel good knowing that your work directly impacts equitable healthcare for all — not to mention, this institution is the national hub for all COVID research. If this sounds like a fit, we want to hear from you.
