Rockstar React Developer Wanted at Progressive D.C. Tech Org!
Salary range: $140,000 to $185,000 per year
Are You the Missing Piece?
This company’s mission is to provide innovative data solutions that amplify forward-thinking voices, causes, and people. A breath of fresh air, no?
As they grow their detailed database of more than 20 million active American donors, they’re looking for an experienced React developer to join them in building the next generation of data analysis infrastructure and tools in the political space.
If you choose to embark on this adventure with them, it will be your responsibility to lead front-end development projects and mentor junior developers. On the daily, you’ll be architecting and implementing complex web interfaces while collaborating with UX/UI designers, internal analysts, and back-end developers. You’ll also collaborate closely with their internal team of digital fundraisers and fundraising strategists to produce an intuitive and reliable platform for internal teams — and external clients — to do data analytics.
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- You Have the Technical Chops: You have 5+ years of proven work experience in web development and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You must have extensive experience with front-end frameworks — React, Angular, or Vue.js + in-depth knowledge of web accessibility standards. Experience with version-control systems and CI/CD pipelines is required.
- You’re an Intuitive Leader with a Left-Leaning Political Stance: You’re a true team player who models a high bar for performance and operates with the best interests of the organization and every client. Extra credit if you’ve worked on the Hill or for an agency with progressive politically-focused clients.
- B2B SaaS Products Are Your Sweet Spot: You rock out at building B2B SaaS products with aggressive roadmaps.
- You’re a Proactive Problem Solver: Instead of sitting on a bug, you identify and develop solutions to challenges, constantly looking at big-picture progress.
- You Thrive in Nimble Environments: Flexible is your middle name, and you’re ready to take advantage of unexpected opportunities and adapt quickly as things change (it’s 2025 after all…).
- You’re an All-In-One Individual Contributor, Mentor, and Cross-Functional Collaborator: Working together with analysts and other team members to effectively achieve collective goals is a core talent of yours. Plus, you enjoy mentoring junior developers, and you’re also happy to work solo on your own projects.
You should take this meeting because …
If you’re looking to level up your career, eventually build out a team under you, and improve development processes for an innovative firm that’s making headlines, then this is the gig for you. The title and seniority level are flexible, they just want high-quality talent.
Yes, it’s in-office 5 days a week in D.C., but if you’re sick of sitting in your pajamas day in and day out, perhaps this is a welcome change. Plus, you get 33 days of PTO and company-wide lunches every Friday. The company culture is progressive, diverse, and youthful. Oh, and your boss will be a seriously amazing female CPO who will inspire and mentor you.
It’s a good look for 2025 and beyond, don’t you agree? They want you in-seat by the end of February so… get in touch with us today!
