The Hired Guns are looking for a highly motivated, extremely collaborative Senior Recruiter to join our in-house core team. To land this gig, you’ll need to be an experienced recruiter who understands the ultra-competitive digital and emerging tech scene. And if you have a sweet spot in UX or Design — even better.
As a Senior Recruiter for The Hired Guns, you’ll get to work on a variety of exciting digital roles across industries. All our clients sit at the intersection of Innovation and Transformation, so if you like being on the cutting edge and working on roles where the candidate you find might be the first person ever to hold that position, you’ll be coming to the right place.
The right Senior Recruiter for us is someone who cares deeply about the success of both our candidates and our clients. Our clients hold us accountable to knowing the digital space inside and out, having access to the right people, being deliberate and accurate in our candidate presentment — all of which will help their companies grow faster. Beyond recruiting, we love Senior Recruiters who are relationship builders. Account expansion is a key skill that will definitely put you at the top of the list.
You’ll have a ton of ownership in this position. You’ll be assigned clients and roles for which you’ll need to do 100% of the candidate sourcing, recruiting, vetting and presentment. You will keep your clients and talent informed throughout the search as you drive to a successful close.
This gig is equal parts recruiter, advisor and leader. If you’ve done internal recruiting or worked for a larger staffing firm, and are ready to join a team that prides itself on making the right hire every time, you’ve just found your people. Alternatively, if you’re a lone gunman in a market with a big tech community and you’re sick of going it alone, we’d be a great firm to join forces with.
While we would love someone to come and work out of our NYC loft — right at the top of Madison Square Park — we are also open to a Senior Recruiter who would like to work remotely. Here’s the caveat there: you must have a proven track-record, killer recommendations and stellar references. We’d also need you to travel to NYC (or other markets) for key client meetings, training, conferences and assorted internal rah-rahs.

You enjoy staying on top of big trends in the space, which gives you a knack for knowing what the next hot in-demand positions will be. You’re a natural networker and enjoy being a part of the digital community by attending conferences and events. And above all else, you have an uncanny ability to get the very best talent to commit to being represented by you.
Your client-facing chops are exceptional. Your customers know they can trust you to find the very best people for the most sought-after positions in digital and emerging tech. And when it comes to client communications, you are extraordinary: expectations are always managed and recruiting timelines are always met. You don’t require hand-holding, either. You’re self-directed and have a passion for growing your own accounts as well as onboarding new ones.
Ideally, you come with a Rolodex full of top-shelf digital folk that will wow our clients and help them build products and experiences that delight their customers and drive growth.
