The Hired Guns are seeking a dynamic Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to create a winning multi-channel recruiting strategy at the nation’s leading public safety apparel and equipment company. Important: this is a hybrid position, 3 days a week in-office in Lexington, Kentucky.
Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 base per year, plus bonus

The nation’s largest distributor of professional public safety equipment and apparel just experienced a massive growth spurt. To solidify the foundation for further growth, now they need an entrepreneurial-minded go-getter to craft a winning recruiting strategy across all key channels (social, partnerships, networking, and more) that will support them in their next phase of development. (Note, this is a brand-new role, so you’ll have ample room to get creative and own this entire process).
You will partner with management and HR to create your recruitment strategy, craft employment brand messaging, and oversee all the open roles from start (create postings and identify candidates) to finish (deliver and negotiate offer).

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
Most importantly, you are a genius at creating successful talent programs, particularly among veterans and underrepresented groups (DEI). You have a dynamic personality and bring lots of energy to the table. You’re highly skilled at creating key partnerships, e.g. connecting with the Board of Tourism, the local Chamber of Commerce, and local universities.
You have a proven track record of creating a multi-channel recruiting strategy. Social media? Check! Partnership development? Check! Business Leader Cultivation? Check! Brand positioning and marketing experience is a plus.
Last but not least, you know how to make your senior leadership think about talent acquisition as a matter of the business, not just an afterthought. Luckily, this is a company with a lot of C-level leaders who poke their heads in the door on recruiting strategy, so that makes the task easier. Just make sure you bring high EQ and lots of confidence!
