The Nitty Gritty
The backstory on the company and why they need to hire you!
This woman-owned, data-driven company pairs patients with research studies, enabling life-saving drugs and procedures to come to market faster. Every year for the past five years, the company has doubled in size and is poised for even more growth in 2023. And that’s where you come in:
As Clinical Trial Site Coordinator, you will act as the first point of contact with clinical research sites, identified by each study’s sponsor, and pitch this company’s portfolio of services to get them to opt in. That means relationship building will be a key part of this role: you must continuously nurture relationships with the sites and act as a source of support throughout the recruitment process. You’ll gather insights from site-level staff and help investigate and resolve site issues using creative problem-solving techniques. Plus, you’ll identify barriers to recruitment as well as solutions to those barriers. Using provided technology platforms, you’ll service assigned accounts, obtain orders, and plan follow up touchpoints. You’ll communicate regularly and work collaboratively to share information, insights, and experiences with the rest of the Site Services team and other internal stakeholders.
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have strong client relationship building skills, and you’re a motivated salesperson. You have excellent problem-solving skills, and you’re eager to serve as a source of support to ultimately drive recruitment outcomes. Having clinical trial research coordination experience is definitely preferred. You’re super organized and able to influence without authority. You’re curious about data and you’re a great pattern recognizer. Bilingual ability (fluency or near-fluency) in English and Spanish is required.
You have the ability to manage internally and share information with the team that can help enhance the retention of the patients in these clinical trials. Strong communication skills and the ability to be proactive and memorable are crucial. You must be able to build a differentiated experience with clinical stakeholders and be interested in the mission of clinical trials.
