Are You the Missing Piece?
Are you the one who gets educators — and geeks out on building online communities that actually feel like communities? A leading education media org (seriously, their content is everywhere) is searching for an early-career Social Media and Community Associate who can help shape how teachers and school leaders discover, share, and talk about great ideas.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the human heartbeat of this org’s social presence. One day you’re crafting smart, scroll-stopping posts; the next, you’re surfacing insights from the comments section that help shape editorial direction. You’ll:
- Keep the brand’s social feeds active, thoughtful, and on point.
- Curate a warm, encouraging environment where educators feel seen and supported.
- Manage the content calendar and collaborate with editorial and marketing partners.
- Spot and elevate authentic educator voices through user-generated content.
- Track what’s resonating using platform insights and analytics — and use that data to guide your creative experiments.
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- 1–4 years of experience creating social content people love (yes, internships count).
- Strong writer with a friendly, professional, conversational voice.
- Comfortable jumping between tools like Sprout Social, Later, or Manychat.
- Skilled at reading the room — you know when to engage, when to escalate, and when to let the community speak for itself.
- Naturally curious and a little quirky (in the best way).
- Deep interest in education and the people who make it happen.
- Organized, dependable, and fully at home in a remote team environment.
You should take this meeting because …
This is social media with purpose. You’ll join a mission-driven org that genuinely cares about both its audience and its people. You’ll have a manager who’s engaged and encouraging, a team that values fresh ideas, and a workweek that respects your weekends. Plus, real room to grow.
If you want your creative energy to support educators everywhere — and you’re looking for stability, community, and career momentum — hit that “apply” button. We’d love to meet you.
