Taxonomy Associate Wanted at Leading NYC Healthcare Institution
Pay range: $60 to $62 per hour
Are You the Missing Piece?
Love a well-organized digital ecosystem? Get a little thrill from clean metadata, smart tagging, and making thousands of assets easier to find? Great, then this one’s for you!
A major NYC healthcare institution is scaling its enterprise digital asset management platform across marketing, IT, websites, and patient-facing experiences. They need a detail-obsessed, systems-minded Taxonomy Associate to help connect the dots between DAM operations, taxonomy, metadata, and AI-assisted discovery. It will be your responsibility to build relationships across departments and align stakeholders around shared standards and processes. It’s hands-on work with a bigger-picture payoff: helping people find the right content, providers, treatments, and services.
The details: Full-time contract expected to run at least 6–8 months, with potential to become a full time employee. NYC-based, ideally onsite three days a week. The team is moving quickly and targeting a November start.
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- You know your metadata. You’ve worked with taxonomy, controlled vocabularies, metadata standards, or digital asset management, and you understand why consistent tagging matters.
- You’re a DAM doer. You can catalog, tag, audit, clean up, and organize digital assets without letting the details slip. Bynder experience is a major plus; similar platforms count, too.
- You think in systems, not silos. You can help maintain taxonomy structures, spot duplicate or conflicting terms, and keep large, complex datasets organized.
- You’re curious about AI. You’re comfortable reviewing AI-generated tags, understanding LLM basics, and helping improve automated classification workflows. No coding wizardry required.
- You can work a room. You’re comfortable collaborating across marketing, IT, analytics, and other departments, translating technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders, and navigating a big, matrixed organization.
- You bring precision and practicality. You can follow rigorous standards, manage repetitive detail-heavy work, and still adapt when priorities or processes evolve.
You should take this meeting because …
This isn’t a digital asset library collecting dust. It’s an enterprise-wide platform being built to power everything from marketing campaigns and websites to patient-facing experiences. You’ll help shape how this major healthcare organization structures, manages, and surfaces its digital content, with a front-row seat to an emerging intersection of taxonomy, data, and AI. If you’re ready to make the digital world a little more organized–and a lot more discoverable—let’s talk! This one will go fast, and they’re looking to hire, like yesterday.
