Do you grok geeks? The Hired Guns are looking to expand our repertoire of talent to include the very best technical and development talent, and we need a high-performing technical recruiter who’s part relationship manager, part evangelist, part coach, part talent scout who can help us do it.
You’re an experienced agency (i.e. external) recruiter with a successful track record getting technical talent hired by your clients. You’re a strong relationship manager who’s not afraid to pick up the phone and keep the ball moving down the field. The techies you’ve placed think the world of you and sing the praises of your coaching and prepping ability.
You’ve got a thorough understanding of the technologies that matter in the digital and high-tech spaces: you’ve worked with web and app developers, mobile, database, and more; you soak up what’s important about emerging technologies quickly, because that’s what makes you succeed. You are able to independently evaluate the quality of technical candidates, so that your clients see only the great ones.
You’re an excellent writer and spoken communicator, friendly and outgoing with great “presence”, a prolific networker, bottom-line focused, ethical, fearless, and strategic. You’re comfortable with risk and want to be rewarded for performance, not for showing up. You never lose your cool, and you want to grow with a lean, professional organization.
