This role isn’t just about having a discriminating eye for great design. The right gun is also a branding whiz, can handle creating digital assets of all kinds and knows their way around visual asset management platforms.
Nitty Gritty
In this gig, you will keep on top of the day-to-day operations of a thriving creative services department, sourcing and editing photos for the web, designing traditional marketing materials, digital graphics and maybe even a video or splash page. The job will have you working closely with the marketing team to develop a new visual identity for the brand, collaborating with in-house design staffers, and standardizing the storage of the entire library of visual assets for the organization.
Hired Guns Profile
You’ve been around the bullpen for a while. You have the design chops for sure and are an expert at Adobe software with the skills to design a variety of marketing materials and digital graphics for the brand. You also can collaborate in all functions of the creative services department including advising and evaluating the work of the rest of the team. While creative genius describes you, so does highly organized and efficient, so administering the asset management platform for the entire institution should be no problem.
Inside Skinny
If you are creative and engaging with an impeccable eye for design you are halfway there. A working knowledge of digital asset management tools), video and/or animation software is a definite plus. And, if you’ve have experience on an in house design team or a non-for-profit bring that front and center.
