Globally recognized as one of the most innovative international language apps, this leading e-learning platform is looking for a highly skilled designer to join their agile team in NYC. You will conceptualize, execute, and deliver a range of cross-platform creatives that evoke the brand and speak to target consumers. You’ll be designing everything from landing pages, to social media ads, to display ads for this global language-learning app. This team is small but mighty, and they’re committed to redesigning the brand’s look and feel. As Visual Designer, you’ll work closely with senior designers, product teams and marketing stakeholders to develop creative that will drive customer awareness and interest in the brand. From top-of-the-funnel brand awareness via clever and engaging creative, to bottom-of-the-funnel campaigns for subscriber growth, your work will have its imprint at every touch point of the customer’s journey. How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced visual design environment. You’re a collegial team player with a clean and modern design aesthetic. You’re a disciplined creative thinker who understands the fundamentals of direct-response marketing. You have expert knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and a deep understanding of design best practices, specifically UX and responsive web design. Experience with motion design, animation, and illustration is a plus. Proofreading and strong attention to detail are non-negotiables. It’s great if you have a background at a B2C tech company/start-up.
