As the Visual Designer, User Interface, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a major evolution for this company. Working alongside strong UXers, it will be your job to fully understand their output (wireframes, journey maps, and other assets) and translate them into the reality of beautiful, seamless product designs for responsive web and native mobile applications. You’ll work within and help expand an existing scalable design system, creating new components when necessary and using existing elements when feasible.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
With five to eight years of experience in visual and UI design for a visually compelling brand or well-regarded agency, you’ve served as design lead for at least one large-scale digital transformation and a hefty handful of smaller-scale creative design projects — and you have the portfolio to prove it. Experience in finance is helpful, but not necessary. Exceptional skills in designing simple and elegant solutions for complex interactions and strong understanding of UX are, however, a must.
You specialize in high-level approaches to product development and have deep experience designing reusable components and how they connect together in different page layouts. You’re an expert in research-guided design, data analysis, human-centered design, and rapid prototyping that will enable you to take the ball from UX and carry it over the finish line. When it comes to tools, you are adept with Figma and have a solid knowledge of micro-interaction design.
