Resourceful Apple Systems Engineer With Can-Do Vibe Wanted at Renowned Museum
Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000 per year base
Are You the Missing Piece?
If you’re that Apple-savvy engineer who lights up a room and knows how to fix things before people even know something’s broken, this role is calling your name.
You’ve probably been the go-to person at your company, the one who’s always smiling, always helpful, always willing to turn the car around to ship a device or save a VIP. You bring deep Apple ecosystem fluency (MacOS, iOS, mobile + laptops), enterprise experience, and that “helping gene” that people remember.
You can untangle break/fix issues, handle escalations, keep SLAs tight, manage VIP expectations with ease, and you know your way around JAMF, device management, automation, and security hardening. You thrive in hybrid, hands-on environments where you’re physically present, solving problems, mentoring Tier 1, and making the whole workplace run smoother.
If early-career service desk or Genius Bar experience was your launchpad—and you’ve since built serious corporate chops—read on!

- Experience creating and deploying images, writing scripts, packaging software, and using automation tools
- JAMF or similar MDM experience (JAMF Pro is highly preferred)
- Ability to configure malware protection, encryption, and handle vulnerability and patch management
- Comfort investigating or remediating cybersecurity alerts
- Strong customer-service skills, including documentation, training users and Tier 1 staff, mentoring, and executive presence
- Hybrid Washington D.C. only — minimum 3 days per week onsite; remote is not an option
