This up-and-coming media company is building a portfolio of media brands focused on informing and entertaining niche audiences in the DIY, food, outdoor, and pet verticals, among others. Due to their rapid expansion and growth via acquisitions, they’re looking for an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join them in 2025 to support all brands within their portfolio and manage their ESP relationship. You’ll report to the head of audience development and support editorial initiatives across all verticals. It will be your responsibility to create and revise newsletter templates, incorporate brand partners into newsletters, actively maintain and clean subscriber lists, and continually optimize newsletter journeys.

What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- You’ve earned your street cred: You’ve got 3+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing email campaigns that drive engagement and conversion (aka you’re hands-on and can get campaigns out the door)
- You’re a pro at streamlining and operationalizing email processes: You don’t need handholding as you create winning email processes that support the backend across four verticals (food, DIY, outdoor, and pets)
- You’re accustomed to handling varied portfolios with diverse audience segments: You can get everyone on the same template and email marketing platform and swiftly manage a portfolio of brands with different audience segments, calls to action etc.
- You can create strategic customer journeys: You’re a wiz at designing customer journeys across a variety of verticals that are tailored to the right email, the right time, the right context, and the right message. You understand performance marketing and not just content in a vacuum.
- You have experience supporting subscription services: You have a history of helping subscription services grow audiences and conversions through transactional email journeys.
