The Experimentation Lead will be a strong individual contributor who anchors a “center of excellence” that will align stakeholders in finance, marketing, product analytics, and business leadership to create a common framework for experimentation that can be applied to all digital features and experiences, thereby ensuring consistently smart, impactful decision-making across the digital organization. You’ll accomplish this goal by defining experimentation requirements with product managers, designing testing methodology using statistical models, and identifying key success metrics. In partnership with finance and product analytics, You’ll analyze the findings of each test and help build a learning organization where findings feed back into sharper experimentation models over time.
Along the way, you’ll serve as the prime evangelist for measurement and experimentation by educating cross-functional collaborators and providing thought leadership that advances the team’s experimentation processes. You’ll evaluate new tools and technologies. You’ll create ways to provide libraries and dashboards of tests and results that arm your colleagues with ever more powerful tools to innovate the business.
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
The dream candidate is a data scientist or data analyst with a brilliant flair for designing revealing experiments that can be leveraged across multiple situations. You combine a deep understanding of statistical analysis with an uncanny ability to communicate complex concepts to an audience of widely varying numeracy. You’re the total package if you excel in data manipulation via SQL, are intimately familiar with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, and have experience with visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau). Experience working with Bayesian statistical methods is a big, big plus. Wrap it all up with retail experience (or at least a strong interest in digital retail and an intuition for how to leverage experimentation to innovate the e-commerce customer journey).
