Field Marketing Manager Wanted to Build Out Brand New Retail Stores for National Chain
Pay range: $50 to $65 per hour contract role with full-time hire potential
Are You the Missing Piece?
A fast-growing, multi-state, female-led retail healthcare brand is on the hunt for a Field Marketing Manager in the DC or Raleigh area. If you’re a scrappy builder with a great eye for visual merchandising, new-store buzz, local flavor, influencer marketing and taking big creative swings, read on!
This national retail franchise opened a whopping 26 new stores last year and already has another 27 lined up for 2026. And that’s where you come in: This role is all about building stores from scratch, shaping the vibe, and making every new location feel like it belongs in its community. You’ll report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, starting as a 6-month full-time consultant with the potential to come on full-time. Expect travel across the East Coast. This is not your typical field marketing seat. It’s for someone scrappy, resourceful, and energized by the chance to:
- Build marketing plans for brand-new store openings
- Infuse locations with regional personality and “Instagrammable” design moments
- Collaborate on visual merchandising and in-store creative
- Dream up influencer tie-ins, local partnerships, and creative buzz-building
- Stretch budgets through smart, inventive, partnership-driven ideas
- Bridge HQ and field operations with stellar communication
- Do a lot with a little while keeping things on-brand and on-budget
- Thrive in food/retail/franchise-style expansion (think fast-growing brands with a strong local feel)
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- 4+ years in field, regional, or local marketing
- Experience opening stores/restaurants/offices/med spas, or similar from scratch
- A portfolio or examples of influencer activation, creative partnerships, or experiential campaigns
- A sharp eye for visual merchandising, immersive spaces, and moments that become content
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with operations
- Comfort in being the glue between HQ and the field
- A builder mindset: “Let me show you what’s possible within this budget.”
- A track record of being scrappy, resourceful, and highly proactive
- Bonus points: franchise or multi-location experience, and comfort flying to openings.
You should take this meeting because …
This is a rare chance to own the full creative footprint of new store launches for a brand growing at hyper-speed. You’ll shape how hundreds of thousands of customers first experience a space, partner directly with an executive leader, and get to put your creative fingerprint on retail environments across multiple states. If you love building something new every month, thrive on local storytelling, and want a role that blends influencer thinking, operations collaboration, and hands-on creativity, this is the one.
