Healthcare Data Analyst (CDP & Fabric) Wanted at High-Growth Healthcare Disruptor
Pay range: $50 to $60 per hour, contract role, full-time equivalent
Are You the Missing Piece?
Most data analyst jobs are about answering questions. This one is about asking better ones.
A nationally recognized, data-driven consumer brand has spent the last year building a sophisticated customer data ecosystem inside Microsoft Fabric. The infrastructure is in place. The data is connected. The dashboards exist. Now they’re looking for someone who can turn all of that into smarter decisions. And that’s where you come in: This is an opportunity to become the technical engine behind a marketing team that’s moving beyond basic segmentation and into true customer intelligence. You’ll explore the data, uncover opportunities others haven’t considered, build audiences that drive measurable business results, and help prove the value of every campaign.
They’re looking for someone who’s as comfortable writing complex SQL as they are sitting down with developers, marketers, and business stakeholders to understand what they’re really trying to solve … someone who doesn’t simply build what they’re asked for, but asks smarter questions, validates assumptions, and comes back with better ideas.
The right person isn’t just technically strong. They’re curious. They love solving messy business problems with data, and they’re energized by figuring out what everyone else missed. Sound like you? Keep reading.
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- You have 5–7 years of hands-on SQL experience and can confidently write complex queries, work with CTEs, troubleshoot your own code, and validate your results.
- Microsoft Fabric is your home base. This environment powers everything, so experience there is essential.
- Power BI is a plus, especially if you’ve built reporting that helps people make decisions instead of just showing charts.
- You communicate exceptionally well. You’ll spend as much time talking through analyses and asking smart questions as you will writing SQL.
- You’re naturally curious. When someone asks for an audience, your instinct is to think, “Is there an even better one we should be looking at?”
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (Microsoft Customer Insights, Segment, mParticle, Braze, Adobe, Salesforce CDP, etc.) is a bonus, but strong technical fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly matter far more.
- Experience working with sensitive customer data in healthcare, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry is a plus.
- Understanding privacy, governance, and responsible data practices will help you hit the ground running.
You should take this meeting because …
Your work will directly influence marketing strategy, customer engagement, revenue growth, and executive decision-making. This team is looking for a trusted technical partner, not simply another pair of hands. Not to mention, it’s fully remote and has the potential to go from contract to employee if you do a good job.
