The Hired Guns are seeking a talented Internal Communications Writer for a part-time gig, working remotely roughly 20 hours a week creating employee-friendly content for a prestigious healthcare system.

About the gig and why they need to hire you!

We’re in the market for a strong writer with a diverse set of skills. Are you able to juggle writing emails, employee-facing web content, and breaking news alerts with an engaging style and a surgeon’s precision? Then this Internal Communications Writer opportunity may be the gig for you. Ideally, you’ll have a flexible schedule to work with a small but mighty group of writers and editors on the institution’s intranet communications team. Bonus points if you’re familiar with Mailchimp, JungleMail, Populo, and/or Sharepoint. CMS knowledge and an ability to lay out emails are definite pluses! A background in medical writing is helpful, but not a requirement.
